I saw a Female Myrtle race Yellow-Rumped Warbler along the Jordan River in SLC today. It was about 50 yards from Redwood Road, right near were there is a bridge over the river at about 2000? north. It was in some Russian Olive trees along the edge of the Rose Park Golf Course. see a photo of it at http://www.flickr.com/photos/bryanto/3518848083/ Other good birds around were lots of recently arrived Bullock's Orioles, Western Kingbirds, a Hummingbirds of unknown species, Brown-Headed Cowbirds and yellow-Warblers. The Neo-tropicals have arrived in full force. Its interesting that it always seem to be timed with when the trees put out their leaves.
Good Birding
