Today the FEMALE BULLOCK'S ORIOLES showed. We have several males that have
been drinking the nectar from our cherry trees for days. The House Finches
eat the blossoms and then drop them, making it look like large snow flakes,
so it is interesting to see the Orioles only interested in the nectar.
They are sharing the feeder with male BROAD TAILED AND BLACK CHINNED
hummers.
We have male and female BLACK HEADED GROSBEAKS.
We have had WHITE CROWNED SPARROW's.
Grackles (which being from Texas they still feel a bit common)
We still have CASSIN'S (which are still loving the oranges) and
CROSSBILLS.
There are a lot of RedWings, Eurasians, Mournings, Black Headed, Brewer's,
American's, Lesser's, Siskin's, Black Capped Chickadees. (no Mountain's so
far)
There are probably a lot more that I am not thinking of, but things are
GOOD!
It's a lovely spring in South Weber.
Brenda
