Jeff Bilsky, Sam and I went to Antelope Island today and spent some time going through the shorebirds on the causeway and the songbirds on the island and at the ranch.

As we drove to the ranch, I mentioned to Jeff and Sam that the area we were approaching was usually a good spot to stop and listen for GRASSHOPPER SPARROW.  As if on command a male broke into its buzzy insect-like song.  :)  I was able to snap a few pictures:
