This morning I helped out with the weekly survey in a remote corner of
Arches. Previous species seen again include Juniper Titmouse, House
Finch, Rock and Canyon Wrens. New species include Black-chinned
Hummingbird, TONS of Blue-gray Gnatcatchers, and a handful of
Black-throated Gray Warblers.
Interesting side-note, my partner on the survey believes she saw a
Canyon Towhee at the same spot last weekend - did not relocate today.
Is that at all expected in this region?
Upon returning to my feeders, I found a Lazuli Bunting pair and a
Sandhill Flyover.
Keep on birding,
