[Birdtalk] 5/2 - Antelope Island Area/ SLC International Center

The following birds of note were seen by me and/or Colby Neuman around
Antelope Island today.
2 RED KNOTS (North side with Black-bellied Plovers - seen early only)
4-5 DUNLINS
1 CATTLE EGRET (farm fields)
1 SOLITARY SANDPIPER (pond at entrance)
1 SPOTTED SANDPIPER (farm fields canal)
1 LAZULI BUNTING (near Layton marsh)
3 RED-NECKED PHALAROPES
Lots and lots of peeps and shorebirds....Sanderlings, Least, Semi-palm,
Western, black-bellied plovers, marbled godwits etc etc

A stop by the International Center in SLC show things picking up.
9 CHIPPING SPARROWS
1 LINCOLN'S SPARROW
1 GREEN-TAILED TOWHEE
1 LAZULI BUNTING
2 RED-BREASTED NUTHATCHES
3 WESTERN KINGBIRDS
2 SPOTTED SANDPIPERS
6 RUBY-CROWNED KINGLETS
20 YELLOW-RUMPED WARBLERS
