[Birdtalk] Rainy Saturday

Today, of all the days to bird, I took my good dog, Jack, and went birding
... in the rain.  First I went to Sue's Pond and met Buck Russell.   I sent
 in my e-brid report and wanted to share with the list, however, I submitted
it in the wrong way.  Just delete that post if you see it.  I'm listing
below the same things  I reported on e-bird.  Birds I saw were:
Wilson's Phalaropes    2
Ruddy Duck   1
Ring-necked duck   8
Yellow Headed blackbirds   50
white Pelicans  6
Mallard   2
Cinnamon Teal    2
American Coots   50
American Avocet  4

Lower Bear River Overlook  (Sam Fellows Rd)
Western Grebe  6
Cattle Egret  1
Snowy Egret  2
Great Blue Heron  1
american Avocet  6
Cinniamon Teal  4
Western Kingbird 1
Common Raven  2
American Robins  6
Canada Goose  TNTC (and lots of goslings)

After the day was done and I came home, I looked out at my feeders and they
were mobbed with all the usual Pine Siskins, Am. Goldfinches and House
Finches and 1 White Crowned Sparrow and 1 Lazuli Bunting.  Yes, the Lazuli
Bunting has found my yard!  I hope he brings lots of little friends.
