Connie et all,

The way you are sharing your checklist is not the way to share it to this list. You are using the "share a list with a friend function" which allows another eBird user whom you went birding with to use the ame list you did for their eBird account. 

The best way to share your eBird list with birdtalk is to select the "send a copy to me" check box before you submit your list, and then forward the actual list that is emailed to you to the list.
