[Birdtalk] CA birding

I spent three days in CA last weekend. One of mine not a moment of rest vacations.
I picked up 7 lifers. Missed on a few easy birds. Picked up 94 species.
Lifers:
California Towhee
Golden-crowned Sparrow
Allen's Hummingbird
White-tailed Kite
Tricolored Blackbird
Black Turnstone
Clapper Rail

Lots of marine mammals, got to pick up a newt.
Really bad weather but still a lot of fun.
