[Birdtalk] Red Crossbills, BYU Campus. Utah County Hawkwatching

Today Eric Huish and I had about a dozen RED CROSSBILLS land briefly in a conifer just south of the Monte L. Bean Museum on BYU Campus. We then drove up to the 'Y' Parking Lot and spent an hour or so hawkwatching. 

Unfortunately there wasn't much of a flight and all we managed was - 
1 Red-tailed Hawk and 
1 distant probable Ferruginous Hawk.

We also had several local birds - 3 Golden Eagles, 1 Sharp-shinned Hawk and 1 American Kestrel.

Better luck next time I hope.
