Yellow Fork Canyon was mostly snow free. I hiked around and birded for a
few hours today. List: Northern Flicker, Western Scrub Jay, Black-Billed
Magpie, Common Raven, Black-Capped Chickadee, Juniper Titmouse (7), Bushtit
(21), Townsend's Solitaire, American Robin, Spotted Towhee, Song Sparrow,
Dark-Eyed Junco, Pine Siskin, American Goldfinch

I found one flock of 20 or so Bushtits right before the picnic area & heard
another flock on the way out. The Townsend's Solitaires were singing. It
was a little windy & not *extremely *birdy.
