Due to the grainy quality of the video this bird does somewhat resemble an
American Goldfinch (as has been suggested). However, this bird has extensive
streaking on the breast and sides and clearly a brown semicircle on the
auriculars (evident on the higher quality video). If anything I'm guessing
it is close to a Yellow Adult Siskin - it was very much like a Pine Siskin
in all ways except that it was somewhat paler and had more yellow on the
outer wing than I normally observe (like the Yellow adult siskin). This bird
was observed live by another birder (Carl Ingwell) who corroborated the ID.
