Hi All!

Tundra Swan Day at Bear River Refuge is Saturday, March 14. The day's
events include a digital photography workshop with Terry Halbert; Birding
101 with Bill Fenimore; and a chance to meet Einstein the American White
Pelican, and learn all about that species. The photography and birding
workshops require pre-registration and a nominal fee.

Of course, we'll invite a boat load of swans to our refuge marshes as well,
and volunteers will be stationed along the auto tour route with spotting
scopes, binoculars and information for anyone wishing to drive out to the
refuge for viewing or photography opportunities. The county has promised
me they'll do what they can to make the refuge access road easier to
traverse!

A poster detailing the day's agenda can be viewed on our refuge web site
at:

And don't forget - there will also be swan viewing opportunities at two
other sites in northern Utah on March 14 - Salt Creek WMA, near Corinne,
and Farmington Bay WMA, near Farmington. We are happy to partner with
these sites for Tundra Swan Day, and invite you to visit us all!
