Jet-skiing on Pineview Reservoir at abour 7:30 pm today, my wife
pointed out a group of 15 Double-crested Cormorants, including one
juvenile sitting in the top branches of a partially-submerged
cottonwood tree in about twenty feet of water, about 300 yards north
of the Ogden Boat Club. The club is just east of the Forest Service
boat ramp area by the Huntsville Cemetery.

It looked like a Crested Cormorant Christmas Tree (bird aliteration).
It was awesome. 15 birds carefully placed on braches of one tree about
forty feet in the air. Wished I had a camera, or the guts to take a
camera out on a jet ski.

This Saturday there is a Garden show in the Ogden Valley for the
benefit of the Ogden Nature Center. Seven Gardens around the Valley.
$15 per person. Some music, some food provided by Ogden Restaurants.
Bill Fennimore will be signing books at one of the gardens. A good
cause.

Pray for sun.
