[Birdtalk] bobolink

I know there has been several reports of bobolinks seen in northern Utah but I have not seen a report  for Ogden Valley.  If there has been one I did not see it.  Any way I saw several of these bird in the north east part of the valley.  They were just east of highway 166 on 1900 north.  When you leave 166 there is a grass field to the left which has some old irrigation equipment (pipes and wheels) near the far fence.  The bobolinks kept coming up from the grass and perching in these structures.  I saw four at one time and most of the time there was one or two in view. The birds are Identifiable with binoculars but a scope would help.
