Just returned from the GSL Audubon trip to several good places in Weber and Rich Counties. I was asked to submit the trip report. Saw a total of 105 species. High-lights included several target species (Calliope Hummingbird, Lewis' Woodpecker, Bobolink, Williamson's Sapsucker and Black Tern) and some other good birds (Prairie Falcon, Golden-crowned Kinglet, Common Yellowthroat, and Fox Sparrow). We probably could have added 5 or 10 more to the list, but heavy rain toward the end at Deseret Ranch basically ended our birding, expect for the Prairie Falcon and a Northern Harrier. No Purple Martins, but with the extended cold and rainy weather and the fact the aspens where the Martins are normally found hadn't leafed out would suggest they haven't arrived yet, at least to stick around. Great company and a great time. Thanks to Paul Higgins and Steve and Cindy Sommerfeld for leading the trip.

The main places we visted were:
1. North arm of Pineview Reservoir and areas around the communities of Liberty and Eden, Weber County - Calloipe Hummingbird, Bobolink, Lewis' Woodpecker, Common Yellowthroat
2. Monte Cristo Campground, Rich County - Williamson's Sapsucker, Golden-crowned Kinglet, Fox Sparrow
