I had only 1 come to my yard, but it didn't stop to feed even though
it. zipped passed the feeders. I haven't seen him all week. It must be
the rain.
Speaking of weather & birds - last Mon. up here in Cache Valley we had
a storm that was just like tornado weather - high winds, heavy rain &
hail and that funky green sky. As I was driving I noticed several
magpies & starlings trying to fly in the wind but they were being
buffetted about. One actually did a kind of summersault in mid-air!
It seemed that they were being blown out of their nests as they all
came from a tree on the roadside. It was quite odd & I felt very sad
for them.
