Beanie and I spent a little over an hour checking out McMurdie Hollow this afternoon about 5:00 P.M.
There was good bird activity. I am surprised no hawks today. Here is the list:

House Wren, Sandhill Crane, Lazuli Bunting, Brewers Blackbird, Black-headed Grosbeak, Bullock's Oriole,
Yellow Warbler, Rough-winged Swallow, Mourning Dove, Barn Swallow, Robin, Cedar Waxwing, Western Kingbird,
Red-winged Blackbird, Crow, Starling, Ring-necked Pheasant, and Hummingbird (Sp?).

To get on McMurdy Hollow road from Paradise, go West on 8700 South.
To get to Mcmurdie Hollow from the Wellsville side, Go South on 2400 West (Meridian Road).

Great birding!

Jim
