Message: I am a photographer who occasionally photographs birds. I'm not skilled in identifying birds. In April, 2009, I regularly visited a location in Salt Lake County known as Winchester Park to photograph birds. On a couple of occasions, I photographed cormorants there, not knowing until now (after seeing similar birds identified and posted on Tim Avery's website) that they are Neotropic Cormorants; and I assume, a notable find. I have some excellent images from late April at Winchester Park; but I don't know how to post them. If anyone finds this information interesting or significant, please contact me; especially to give me directions as to how I can post my images from Salt Lake in April 2009. Aside from all this, I also was successful in photographing a summer tanager at Tracy Aviary, Salt Lake on Sept. 27,2008.
