[Birdtalk] Logan Mitigation Ponds , 7/21/09

Birded the Logan Mitigation Ponds (aka "Sue's Ponds") this evening. Most of
the usual suspects, and nothing else. Two SPOTTED SANDPIPERS and two
uncooperative dowitchers that took off (silently, of course) and flew into
the sun were the only obvious shorebird migrants. The westernmost pond, the
shorebird playa, was completely dry.
