[Birdtalk] travel to the St. George Winter Bird Festival

I'm not offering a ride, but I do have a room at the Best Western Abbey Inn that I would share with another female, if she contacts me today.  (leaving Thurs am)  There are two queen beds in the room.

  The Utah County Birders field trip for January will be held in (hopefully!) sunny St. George during the St. George Winter Bird Festival from 1/29-2/1. There will not be any formal club activities at that time, and those who choose to participate are responsible for their own lodging and travel arrangements. Even though there has been a merciful drop in the price of gas, I would still encourage those who intend to make the trip to car-pool if they have space and are so inclined. If you have room for a rider or two, if you could please post a response to this note I would very much appreciate it. If you need a ride, I will leave it you to contact those who post in response to this note.
