Great day at Antelope Island! I love that place. Best bird was the Loggerhead Shrike. Or was it a Northern Shrike? See pics. The Shrike was just south of the fence. The Great Horned Owls were in the barn at Garr ranch. The Bald Eagle was in a tree by the Garr Spring House. The Song Sparrow was in the nearby spring. The Spotted Towhee was west of the spring. I couldn't find the Virginia Rail. How does one find that bird? I was really sneaky, I thought. Mac said someone saw it 2 days ago, in the Garr Spring.
Thanks,
Doug
