[Birdtalk] most interesting bird

Just a couple of weeks ago I had a gray-crowned rosy-finch come to feast at
the table with all the other birds. I have also had a Northern Shrike, a
Sharp-shinned hawk and a Northern Harrier visit. It's amazing how, when
these birds show up, all the regulars disappear! Last year and the year
before, a golden eagle (whom I named 'Cliff') used to perch in some
cottonwoods across the street from me. He frequently flew over my yard in
search of whatever - probably someone's puppy or cat.
