[Birdtalk] Banded birds!

I OBSERVED HERE IN SAINT GEORGE ,ON JAN 6 ,TWO CANADIAN GEESE WITH LARGE YELLOW NECK TAGS.  THEY WERE ON THE SAINT GEORGE GOLF COURSE IN  BLOOMINGTON HILLS. THE TAG NUMBERS ARE YV59 AND YV78.

I am curious to see if anyone has seen any banded birds at your feeders or where ever you may be watching birds. If so what species was it and was there any colored bands along with the typical aluminum band? Brad Wahlinhondaciv_ex at yahoo.com
