Cliff, et all,
The yellow neck collared birds were likely banded just to the north at Farmington Bay WMA. There are plenty of these collared geese around the Salt Lake Valley. If You happen to take down the collar numbers it may be worth contacting DWR and funding out more about the geese you see!

I agree that it's a GWF Goose but the orange bill is consistent with the
Greenland subspecies. A very interesting bird. There are also two neck
collared Canada Geese in one of the photos. It would be interesting to
know where they were banded.
