Brittany and I had an awesome day at Lee Kay Ponds today. All water is
open. The gulls are starting to move back on the main ponds. The
highlights included 1 Snow Goose, 7 Double-Crested Cormorant, 1 Bald Eagle,
16 American Avocet, Herring Gull, Magpie, Killdeer, 100's of Horned Lark,
etc etc (I know that Black-Billed Magpie and Bald Eagle aren't that exciting
to most, but I rarely see them at the ponds). Below is a full list.
Snow Goose, Canada Goose, Gadwall, Mallard, Canvasback, Redhead, Ring-Necked
Duck, Bufflehead, Common Goldeneye, Common Merganser, Double Crested
Cormorant, Bald Eagle, Red-Tailed Hawk, American Kestrel, American Coot,
