Seen today from 6:20 a.m to 11:00 a.m.

Barn Owl (driving down the west dike at about 6:20)

Bald Eagles (mostly adults this time)

Northern Harrier

Great Blue Heron

Glaucous Gull

Western Gull

Herring Gull

Ring-billed Gull

California Gull

Great Blue Heron

Bufflehead

Common Goldeneye

Red-winged Blackbird

Canada Goose

The Glaucous and Western Gull this time were at the very end of the west dike where everybody have been photographing the eagles.  When I went by the first bridge (going south) on the west dike at 11:00 where all the gulls and pelicans have been this past week, there was absolutely nothing up close.  Everything was at least 300 yards away.  And nobody was there scaring them away so not sure why it was so abandoned.

I got a report that just inside the AIC causeway gate, to the north, there were several hundred swans (all tundra I assume, but I was not given the specifics) early this afternoon.
