This afternoon Deedee, Bill and I saw about a dozen Gray-crowned Rosy- Finches but no White-winged Crossbills. Also seen were Red-breasted Nuthatches, a single Mountain Chickadee, many Pine Siskins, two Clark's Nutcrackers as well as one Steller's Jay, and a Cassin's Finch. It was a beautiful afternoon to be in the mountains.
