[Birdtalk] 9 (yes, nini!) gull day

I wish I could say that I out-gulled Steve and Cindy Sommerfeld, but must 
admit that they were there to help me with identifications.  We saw all 
the gulls they listed last evening, plus a Glaucous-winged Gull.  It was 
an amazing day at Farmington Bay!  Three lifers, plus two more Utah 
firsts, for me.

None of us had a camera to record the Iceland Gull, but hopefully someone 
will get some good photos of it for the website.  (Where were you Paul and 
Tim?!?)  The Records Committee may not agree, but it sure looked like the 
pictures in Sibley.  And it definitely differed from the pictures of other 
species.
