[Birdtalk] Francis: yes Grosbeaks, no Rusty Blackbird

Jason Pietrzak and I made the drive from Logan to Francis yesterday in
search of the Bohemian Waxwings, Evening Grosbeaks, and Rusty Blackbird
that have previously been reported. Evening Grosbeaks were still
present, but in smaller numbers than before. We estimated that we saw
and/or heard about 50 individuals, but the largest single flock we saw
was between 20 and 30 birds. Several times they flew over calling
without landing in sight, so if you go in search of them it will be very
helpful to be familiar with their calls. Cedar Waxwings were still
dense here; we estimated around 200 individuals. We were only able to
pick one Bohemian Waxwing out of the group. (As far as I know,
Bohemians have still not shown up in Cache County yet this year.) We
were unable to relocate the Rusty Blackbird. Here are a few photos:
