I have to tell someone. I saw two killdeer chicks yesterday - 27 April
09 at the ISSR! All legs and bill. Those parents came in early and
ignored the weather! Pretty darn early! They were at least a few days
old, maybe even a week.
On Friday I (and Bill Fennimore) saw a 4 egg clutch of curlew (ergo they
didn't waste ANY time getting to nesting).
In the grand scheme of record keeping, does anyone care about this? Or
is it too anecdotal to matter?
Ann
