[Birdtalk] Crossbills

I would guess that some folks are somewhat tired by now of crossbill postings, but for those of us who have never had them before, it is still exciting.  A couple of weeks ago I had one female Red Crossbill; then a week later a male Red.  Today, I had 3 males and 4 females, all Red Crossbills, sharing the hulled sunflower seed with somewhat surprised House and Cassin's Finches, goldfinches, Pine Siskins, and a female flicker.  As I mentioned 2 weeks ago, I've never had crossbills at my feeders in 39 years.
