[Birdtalk] Starlings

Sorry, I can't go along with anything good about Starlings.  They steal the suet away from the Downy Woodpeckers and the Northern Flickers by traveling in gangs to assert themselves.  I put up a nest box for flickers and they take the wood shavings out and take over the nest box. They take over Flicker nests in the wild, too. Even the Gilded Flicker nests in cactus. They can't even get a drink from a bird bath without knocking some other bird off.  Yes, they have cute legs, but they are just too destructive and pushy for me.
