Went out to Antelope Island Causeway with Steph Nolasco and a few friends from BYU this afternoon. There were a few ducks around (N. SHOVELER, GREEN-WINGED TEAL), EARED GREBES, FRANKLIN'S GULLS (~8) and hundreds of AMERICAN AVOCETS, otherwise there were very few shorebirds.

Among the smattering of other shorebirds were:

3 Marbled Godwits
2 Black-bellied Plovers
4 Black-necked Stilts
~35 Willets

Flybys included several GREAT BLUE HERON and a few distant BALD EAGLES.

>From the Visitors Center we saw 2 CHUKAR.

Garr Ranch was pretty dead. We did see one of the ever present GREAT-HORNED OWLs and a RUBY-CROWNED KINGLET. A distant accipiter and a GOLDEN EAGLE flew over.

Cheerio
