[Birdtalk] Antelope Island, Kaysville Ponds

Took a brief birthday jaunt to the ponds in Kayville near the Utah Botanical
Center and to Antelope Island.  Highlights:

Kayville:
Great-tailed grackles exhibiting mating behavior.  Saw several males and at
least 2 females.  If you have never seen the mating rites, hurry over.  They
are hilarious.
Red-breasted Merganser
Killdeer
Northern Shoveler
Am. White Pelicans
Double-crested Cormorants
Yellow-headed  and Red-wing blackbirds

Antelope island:
Horned Lark
Say's Phoebe
American Avocets
Eared Grebes in breeding plumage
Western Meadowlarks
RW Blackbirds
