[Birdtalk] Re: Harris sparrow on Jordan River

Unfortunately none of my photos (screen shots) turned out - the video camera
kept focusing on branches so the photos I have are really not worth sharing.
Perhaps someone with a good camera will track this guy down. Like Alan said,
tape really didn't seem at all necessary or effective. The bird flew back
and forth from the South Side to the North side of the river a few times -
we found it and lost it a couple times before we all got good, conclusive
looks at the bird. It appears to have a bit more black on the face than the
first winter pic in Sibley's but other than that and the bill not quite
matching as previously mentioned, that is a good representation of what to
look for. Good luck and great thanks to Alan for the life bird!
