Returned at noon today (Sun, 4/12/09) and found that Pomera Fronce was
already there looking for the Harris's sparrow. Jeff Bilsky and Carl
Ingwell arrived a few minutes later. The Harris's is still there. It
flocks with the white crowneds that (both yesterday and today) hang out
within about 50 yards S of the small car park, alternating between the
two sides of the river. It is utterly uninterested in recordings of
the Harris's sparrow song. All of us got to see it, and it was a lifer
for all of us but Pomera. Jeff got a photo, which he plans to post.
