I could be wrong though since the pictures are hard to see on here. 

Broad-tailed are unique in the sound that male birds make when they fly.  Black-chinned often give a series of chirps that are quite distinctive. 

Also on an alpha code note, Broad-tailed is BTAH, although I have also seen BTLH used.  Blue-throated is the species in the USA that conflicts in initials.
