I forgot the cutest part!  There was also a pair of killdeer hanging around
the rocks near one of the pond edges.

Beautiful day.  Here's what I saw:

Am. White Pelicans (6 to 8)
Am Coots
Mallards
Pie-billed Grebe
Red-wing Blackbirds
Yellow-headed Blackbird
Yellow-rumped Warbler
Double-crested Cormorants (6 to 10)
Great-tailed Grackle
Red-breasted Merganser
Canada Geese
Am Robin
House Sparrow
House Finch

I'm in the process of editing photos and will post them on my blog later, if
anyone is interested.
