Greetings -

Roberta and I hit the merganser trifecta today.  We saw many commons and one female hooded at Lee Kay Ponds and the previously reported red-breasted at Sugar House Park (keeping company with a female).

Other birds of interest were an Osprey at the pond at 4500 South and 1500 East, Wilson's Snipe on 7200 West (west of the landfill), Lincoln's Sparrow at I-80 and 7200 West and Chukar northwest of the capitol.
