[Birdtalk] Question on Electronic Field Guides

We have been exploring the electronic field guides currently on the market, e.g., iBird, birdJam, and Handheld Birds.  We know that many Utah birders are using these and wondered if you would share your opinions on these with us.  

In checking with the Webmaster on the appropriateness of using "Birdtalk" for this request, he indicated he thought it would be okay but hoped that it would not be an invitation for someone to try to sell or promote their own product.  This would be problematic.  

Thanks for any suggestions and/or advise you would care to share.
