Jeff Bilsky and I did some birding along the south shore at the International Center, Lee's Creek and Lee Kay Ponds.
The IC was rather productive as opposed to the previous weeks. Yellow-rumped Warblers were out in force with at least 50 or 60 seen. A lone Wilson's Warbler was the onle other species of warbler seen. Other migrants include:
4 Red-breasted Nuthatch
4 Western Tanager
7 Ruby-crowned Kinglet
1 Swainson's Thrush
Numerous Chipping Sparrow
3 White-crowned Sparrow
1 Red-naped Sapsucker
1 Downy Woodpecker
A Peregrine Falcon flew over as well.
And at Lee Kay Ponds, the Cattle Egret remained only today it was on the far west end of the west pond.
Good Birding
Tim
