This morning at the mud flats off the southeast corner of the Provo
Airport Dike I found a Marbled Godwit which was walking with a limp.
It was among a host of American Avocets, California Gulls, and
Killdeer, with a few Greenwing Teal and a couple of Great Blue Herons.
On the levee going east and north, I spotted a Merlin causing a stir
among numerous Yell-rumped Warblers and a few Mourning Doves and White-
crowned Sparrows.
