[Birdtalk] GSL Audubon Field Trip Saturday

I am posting this to the list in hopes of getting some folks out to the International Center this weekend as part of Saturday's Great Salt Lake Audubon Society field trip!  It is about the height of fall passerine migration and u am hoping the IC can start to produce some numbers like it did last fall.  

To date nearly 150 species have been recorded at this migrant trap just west of the airport. 

We will be meeting in front of the Microsoft Indie Built building which is on the west (left) side of Wright Brothers Drive as you exit I-80 west bound (there is no easy bound exit there).  As you take the exit the road curves to the north. Take the the first left trib at the base of the ramp before you get to the light. 

I should be there before the meetinh time of 7:30am. Look  for an orange SUV!

And if by some chance the birding is lackluster we may hit some other patches of trees on the southshore, or head up to Jupiter Peak near Brighton to look for hawks!
