[Birdtalk] Thanks for a great UOS Conference!

I'd like to say THANK YOU to the Utah Ornithological Society Board, and Kris Purdy of Wasatch Audubon, for another excellent fall conference.  You all did a GREAT job of organizing this fun and educational event!

Dale Clayton gave a great talk on Friday evening about his lab's work on ectoparasites; I know a lot more about bird lice now, than I ever did before.  And the hors d'oeuvres at Jeremiah's ... all I can say is ...YUMMY!

The paper session on Saturday was excellent - such an interesting variety of topics.  I always enjoy hearing students talk about their work - they have so much enthusiasm for what they're doing!  And Colby, I PROMISE to visit ebird more often!  Thanks to John Cavitt and Weber State University for hosting the event.  It really is a perfect facility for this type of meeting.

It's always fun to see birder-friends as well, and be able to catch up and do a little net-working.  For those of you who could not attend - you missed an excellent conference.  Hope you will be able to make it next year.  I'm sure the UOS Board will again set the date early, so that you can all get it on your calendars.

Good job everyone - THANKS AGAIN!!!
