Birded Lamb's Canyon this evening. Beautiful Autumn smells and feel. Most of
the birds I saw were all in one area consisting of CLARK'S NUTCRACKERS,
STELLAR'S JAYS, RED BREASTED NUTHATCHES, AMERICAN ROBINS, and a DOWNY
WOODPECKER. Later on saw some JUNCOS and a couple more DOWNY'S including one
that appeared to be working on a winter home based on all the fresh wood
shavings beneath his hole. No Raptors. No Owls.
