October 23, 4:00 Pm, there was a very large flock of mixed birds just east of the Hyrum Dam
along highway 165. The flock was made up mostly of gulls, crows and starlings. It was quite a spectacle. They all seemed to be feeding in a field there, and would fly up at times.
Alas, on that narrow road with no space to pull over off the road, we just had to look as we passed by. I would have liked to pull over and study the gulls for a while. There was thousands of birds.
