[Birdtalk] UTAH COUNTY - LEWIS'S WOODPECKERS

I birded a few locations around Utah County this afternoon and evening
starting with Woodland Hills where I finally located my life bird LEWIS'S
WOODPECKER, and two no less. Digi-binoc photos can be seen here:

Headed over to Swede Lane next where there were lots of flocks of WHITE
CROWNED SPARROWS and YELLOW RUMPED WARBLERS moving around. The end of the
road by the Lake was really quite birdy - I couldn't find anything unusual
mixed in but who knows what's around. River Lane was pretty much the same
with a real large number of SPOTTED TOWHEES and a single ORANGE CROWNED
WARBLER adding something different to the mix. A HERMIT THRUSH sang a few
times which was a nice surprise for me. Down by the Lake a couple of SNOWY
EGRETS flew past. Good Birding.
