Birded AI with some family visiting from Chicago. Saw what has already been
mentioned including the Black Necked Stilt which my sister commented she
admired for being tall and skinny with a great black coat. I also found a
TOWNSEND'S WARBLER and a PRAIRIE FALCON on the way to the ranch as well as a
couple of NORTHERN HARRIERS and a LOGGERHEAD SHRIKE. The ranch was dead and
I failed to deliver the promised Owl. A trip up to Jordanelle Wetlands also
failed to deliver much other than a BELTED KINGFISHER. A trip to Parley's
Gulch and we missed the screech owl. My family will likely not be visiting
me again. Ever. Unless I find an owl soon!

Good Birding,
