[Birdtalk] Owls

Last night as I had just turned out the lights and gone to bed, I heard
outside my window 2 great horned owls (I think that's what they were)
hooting it up.   I went outside with binoculars and saw both of them perched
on the power pole in my back yard.  I could clearly see their big ears and a
bright white on the breast.   I suspect these were a male and female pair.
 I ran into the house to get my camera and try my luck at a night shot, but
the pics didn't turn out very well.  Anyway, I haven't had owls in my yard
for quite a long time and I am very happy to see them again, at least for
one night!
