Greetings:

You may have noticed a young lady sitting along the dike at the first turn 
west at FBWMA last spring.  She is a grad student conducting a study of 
colonial nesting birds and how they use habitats, such as wetland marshes. 
Banding birds is one method to measure density, monitor succession and 
recruitment.
